Distant clients are scheduled for appointments by phone and tape recordings are available at client request. As a Registered Nurse, she understands the medical model, health issues, and physiological components of illness. Vivian believes that our psyches are always fostering good mental health, just as the body does on a physical level. If we do not understand what is best for us emotionally or mentally, then we develop symptoms of disorder. The symptoms offer significant clues to what the psyche needs for healing. Anxiety, depression, phobias, or obsessing, are all cues that something is not right and needs attention. If the physical body is hurt, it sends a message of pain. The psyche wants to help. It is not the enemy. Vivian has always been interested in expanded forms of understanding the conscious and unconscious levels of the psyche. Her curiosity has led her to pursue and teach intuitive perception by various methods. She is board certified as a hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also certified as a Professional Astrologer by the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) at the highest possible level in two areas: Astrological Counseling, and Astrological General Studies. An additional tool for coming to know the psyche is to study dreams and focus upon their meanings. Vivian began her study of understanding dreams 30 years ago and continues to find meaningful results from the work, both for herself and for clients. |
